CP965 suits a larger meeting table that benefits from expansion microphones and more local conference participants. Its power requirements differ from the CP925.
Reasons to choose something else
An 802.3af-only installation may not meet the documented class-4 power requirement. Verify the complete microphone bundle and room acoustics; a larger microphone array cannot guarantee intelligibility in an untreated room.
Deployment and acceptance checks
Check PoE allocation with accessories, then test every seating position and simultaneous speech. Verify optional CPW65 pairing and charging, USB/Bluetooth operation and the PBX’s supported codec path.
