Choose a touchscreen for a specific task
The P370 replaces a bank of physical line buttons with software controls on a seven-inch display. Evaluate it with users who benefit from an on-screen call list or directory. A larger screen does not by itself mean a faster transfer: test the interaction while a second caller is waiting and the user is wearing their normal headset.
Compare touch controls with a key-based desk
The manufacturer lists sixteen software line appearances, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and PM200 support. Compare the P330 if tactile contact buttons are central to the workflow. An expansion console can add physical targets, but it also changes desk space, cabling and power planning.
Read power and display specifications carefully
The technical reference lists 8.5 W for the phone and up to 18.5 W including two USB loads. Keep those scopes distinct when planning switch or adapter capacity. Product and technical pages reverse the order of the 800 and 1280 display dimensions; this record preserves that source discrepancy instead of silently choosing an orientation.
Verify application behavior on the actual PBX
The documentation lists integrations with supported Sangoma platforms and DPMA, with version prerequisites. Confirm those prerequisites for the installed PBX and provisioning modules before relying on visual voicemail, parking or queue controls. Test a provisioned restart, authentication, hold, transfer and mailbox access. No laboratory screen, audio, wireless roaming or headset measurements are claimed.
