Sangoma P-series: build and split a three-way conference
The player loads only when you choose Watch here. Playback uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed; YouTube processes playback data.
Why this is useful
Follow a live call as it is held, a third person is contacted privately and the two calls are joined. The final split operation helps distinguish creating a local conference from simply having two separate calls on the same phone.
Applicability
Version-specificP-series workflow associated with the P320/P325/P330 family. Application availability and exact controls vary across Sangoma platforms and firmware.
Keep in mind
- The three parties include the initiating user.
- Softkeys and hold music depend on the configured phone platform.
Before you watch
Use a configured device and a willing test caller. Read the linked guide before changing settings.
Put it into practice
Practise with two colleagues: start one call, consult with the third person and merge them. Then split the conference and identify which call is active and which is held before ending either one.
