Grandstream GRP2670: transfer calls and manage a conference

Foundational

The player loads only when you choose Watch here. Playback uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed; YouTube processes playback data.

Why this is useful

Compare an immediate handoff with an attended transfer that gives the receiving person time to speak privately. The second part adds participants to a local conference and removes a selected participant, connecting the phone’s controls with the people involved in each call state.

Applicability

Version-specific

GRP2670 touchscreen workflow. Transfer behavior and conference capacity depend on firmware, account settings and PBX support.

Keep in mind

  • The example’s extension numbers belong to its lab.
  • A local phone conference is different from a hosted meeting bridge.

Before you watch

Use a configured device and a willing test caller. Read the linked guide before changing settings.

Put it into practice

Use three test extensions to follow the caller, transferring user and recipient separately. Confirm who hears the consultation and when the handoff completes. Then create a local conference and verify the effect of removing one participant.
