Use the supported deployment path
The official quick install assumes a minimal Debian 12 host and installs FusionPBX with FreeSWITCH and supporting services such as PostgreSQL, NGINX and PHP-FPM. Review the current installer and record the exact revision before using it. An older video may show a different operating-system or package path. Use a dedicated host or isolated environment and retain recovery access. Avoid running a new installer over an existing PBX without a supported migration procedure.
Record the service relationships
Inventory application files, database, FreeSWITCH configuration, scripts, storage and certificate material. The web interface's stored state and the runtime configuration must remain consistent. Directly changing generated files can create behavior the management interface cannot explain or preserve. Confirm the initial domain and login context. The hostname used to access FusionPBX can participate in domain authentication, so a successful login by IP and a failed login by hostname may reflect domain identity rather than an incorrect password.
Validate before real traffic
Create a restricted test extension and verify provisioning or manual registration, internal calling and media. Add one controlled provider relationship only after confirming access controls and tenant context. Test backup and restore of the application plus its dependencies. Record FusionPBX revision, FreeSWITCH version, database version and operating-system release. Do not call an installation production-ready merely because the login page loads; routing, media, permissions and recovery are separate acceptance checks.
