Grandstream GRP2615: assemble a pre-provisioned phone
The player loads only when you choose Watch here. Playback uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed; YouTube processes playback data.
Why this is useful
Follow the stand, network cable and handset assembly before the phone retrieves its service settings. The narration starts with a phone already prepared by Accelerate Networks, making this a useful orientation for a new desk user receiving a managed handset.
Applicability
Version-specificGRP2615 hardware with Accelerate Networks provisioning. The account and park-key configuration are supplied by the service; a retail phone needs additional setup.
Keep in mind
- Use the supply specified for your hardware, or supported PoE. Do not copy a voltage from another model.
- A network connection and a registered calling account are separate milestones.
Before you watch
Use a configured device and a willing test caller. Read the linked guide before changing settings.
Put it into practice
Identify the network and handset ports before connecting cables. After startup, check the assigned extension and make an internal call in both directions. If the phone has an address but no account, follow the provisioning guide.
