Why this is useful
Builds a weekly office schedule, then divides a holiday closure into a partial first day, complete middle days and a partial final day. Useful when a single time range cannot express the schedule clearly.
Applicability
Version-specificUploaded October 2023; the narration identifies a FreePBX 16 system from February 2023. Check controls on FreePBX 17.
Keep in mind
- A time group defines matching periods. It does not route calls by itself: connect it to a time condition and the intended inbound route.
- Evaluate the holiday condition before ordinary office hours when holiday closure must take precedence.
- Check timezone, daylight-saving behavior, boundary minutes and annual recurrence. Review date-based closures each year.
