LegacyHistorical 2014 tutorial. Contexts and priorities remain relevant; the chan_sip endpoint commands do not apply to Asterisk 22.
Keep in mind
- Use our PJSIP guide for endpoint configuration. sip.conf and sip show peers belong to the removed chan_sip driver.
- The demonstration replaces extensions.conf in a teaching system. Never clear a live dialplan or overwrite files generated by FreePBX.
